Leahkf, female, age 43, height 175cm, weight 91.7 (finally found a trustworthy set of scales)

Full time mum of 1,16 month old, go through love hate relationship with exercise, just gone through slackish few weeks. Had quite a few medical issues, and a few ops and put on weight each time, then magically fell pregnant, so put on yet more weight. But I want to be yummy mummy so have been working hard to shed the flab. Have gone down one dress size in the last 6 months. My optimum (=dead sexy) weight is 68-70 kilos.

Goal: I would be happy with 75-77. Which would be size 12.

Weight loss plan: diet and exercise

Weakness: everything yummy

Biggest challenge: everything yummy

Exercise plan: More gym classes and general weights. More walks and maybe swimming.

Trying to remain positive

Thanks for your eating tips , I am trying to walk more and yes preparation makes a different. Don't mind commuting but somedays can be a pain especially cold mornings.

You are going very well leahkf, 1.1kg in a week is a very good effort. I think you have Jeff covered.

.7 of a kilo this week. Still very happy with that result as I was stressed and busy and had no time for the gym. So far this week 0 visits to the gym. Will definately be there tomorrow.

Hi leah, you do have a good plan that will be sustainable. With exercise and weights; conversion of "fat" to muscle may be a factor. If that is the case you will be losing inches in the right places. I believe it is more important for mums to have a balanced diet because of the complexities of a womans body. I think Jeff may be on for a barnstorming finish.

G'day Leah , most of the dieters are keeping pretty quiet.oldboy has done extremely well. Jeff is in Melbourne so he if indulges in drinking a few beers he may be left with a bit to lose in the final week. I am pleased to have lost a tad over 4kg for which I thank Jeff but still well short of the 7kg that was the goal. You seem to be going well Leah keep up the good work.

I didn't weight myself a week ago as I was away, so it was nice to see a loss of .9 over two weeks. That takes me to a total of 3.3 so far. EXCELLENT

Feeling virtuous as my total weight loss as of sat 16/10 is 4.5 kilos. If I can lose half a kilo this week it will mean I am a third of the way to my goal.
