SOMETHING was filmed at Nobbys and Bar Beach yesterday, and all we know is it has a New York yellow cab and the Bondi Vet.
Vet, cab and crew were in Nobbys car park when we caught up with them.
In the scene they were filming the cabbie, in a Yankees jersey, dropped off Merewether’s own Chris Brown next to the beach. Here’s the gist of what they said.
Bondi Vet: How much do I owe you?
Cabbie (in an accent our untrained ear placed somewhere between Brooklyn and Queens): Fuggedaboudit.
Bondi Vet: Thanks, mate.
The crew were tight-lipped about what they were filming. We’ll go out on a limb and say it’s an ad, about how good it is to come home from overseas. Yeah, that’ll do.
