DETECTIVES are investigating the possible murder of a woman at a Greta property.
Hunter Valley police chief Superintendent Des Organ said the body of a female was discovered in a shed on the Wyndham Street property about 9am.
"As a consequence of police attendance we are treating the death as suspicious and investigations are continuing," Superintendent Organ said.
"That is all I can tell you at this stage."
Detectives have canvassed neighbors as forensic experts continue to scour the scene for clues.
