Body found on beach at The Entrance

08 Feb, 2012 03:00 AM
THE body of a young man was found washed up on The Entrance beach late last night.

Tuggerah Lakes police confirmed that a body was discovered about 10.50pm.

Police were yet to identify the body but it is believed it is that of 15-year-old Keon Sbrugnera who went missing in surf at The Entrance beach on Sunday.

Police were on their way to notify the family about 11pm.

Social media tribute pages to the Wattanobi teenager lit up last night with condolences and messages of support to his family.

Keon, his girlfriend and two other friends entered the water at the northern end of The Entrance channel about 3.30pm on Sunday.
