A SCHOOL bus driver stands accused of committing an act of indecency concerning one of the female pupils he was responsible for taking home.
Police will allege the Thornton man, 46, spent up to 18 months ‘‘grooming’’ the young girl before committing the offence.
Maitland detectives arrested the man last night and charged him with child grooming, inciting an act of indecency and committing an act of indecency.
The child grooming charge alleges he procured a child under the age of 14 for unlawful sexual activity.
He was refused police bail and is due to face Maitland Local Court today.
