A man has died in a single-vehicle crash at Muswellbrook this morning.
Police were called to Edderton Road, which runs between the Golden Highway and Denman Road, about 4.45am.
Police found a southbound four-week drive had left the road and crashed into a tree.
A man, who has yet to be identified, was located deceased inside the vehicle.
Earlier this morning, police were warning the road may be closed while investigations continued.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
