FIRE crews are battling two blazes at Woodberry and Hexham this morning.
Six units are at the scene of a tyre fire near the Hexham end of Shortland Wetlands.
They were called to the scene about 4am.
A NSW Fire Brigades spokesman said the crews had used foam to bring the blaze under control but would continue to monitor the fire for most of the day.
Meanwhile, two crews are at the scene of a house fire on Duckenfield Street, Woodberry.
The spokesman said no one was injured in the blaze, which started about 9am.
