Lake Macquarie teen home from Bali prison

05 Dec, 2011 01:38 PM
The Lake Macquarie teen released from a Bali prison appears to have returned home to Morisset Park.

The boy was smuggled into his house in a covert operation, designed to evade the media camped outside via a neighbours property.

For more pictures click on the image below.

This afternoon about 1.40pm people inside the house started loudly banging doors and windows in what appears to be a message to media waiting outside.

Earlier in the day a family member left about 12pm and returned at 1pm.

There are about a dozen representatives of media outlets outside the house.

The family have also erected hessian bags around the entry of the house to shield the boy from view.

Cameramen have been in a fierce competition for a shot of the boy, however laws prevent them from identifying him and they would have to blur any image.

Police have told waiting media they do not have a problem with their location.

They were called to investigate reports of trespassing, possibly made by the boy's family.

A member of the family spoke with police at the scene.

Family members have also been filming and photographing waiting media over the hessian throughout the day.

Now if real hero's could get the same kind of attention as these type of criminals then the world would be a better place.

For goodness sake dont make a hero of this kid as I am sure there will be enough bogans in the community will do that for him.

Is the hessian to alert anyone who does not know, where he lives?

I would like this boy's parents to smack his backside, send him to his room and ground him until his 16th birthday. I don't want to hear any more about him and what he did, which is what 90% of the Hunter's 14-year old population would do and is probably doing right now. He and his family deserve no more media attention and the media should go after stories that are worth knowing about, particularly when the family themselves are going to so much trouble to conceal their identity.

This is apalling. He is a child. Leave him and his family in peace. Imagine if it was your son or daughter, this amount of harrassment for a blurred photograph? Let them get on with their lives.

What a disgraceful display by the media. Why should we be giving any time at all to a drug addict who got less than what he deserved. If the kid was 18 everyone would be saying lock him up and throw away the key. Somehow being an addict since 12 and a half is ok though.

Why all the secrecy ? Everyone in Morisset knows his name and where he lives.

Can see it now he'll end up on A Current Affair and Leila McKinnon will ask him to remove his mask and sunglasses ad nauseum. Then it'll spill on to YouTube and we'll have another overload of rubbish reporting and hero like worship like the party teen a few years back.
