FLAVOURS will line the footpath in Maitland Heritage Mall all weekend, with the Maitland Taste Festival drawing gourmet treats into the shopping strip.
Wine and cheese matching, jazz performances and tours of Maitland's historical assets made the festival unique, Maitland City Centre manager Peter Clough said.
"The Maitland area is a food bowl," Mr Clough said.
"The idea of having these festivals is that they're one way of introducing people to the central business district."
