Man dies after thrown from bike

A MOTORCYCLIST has died after failing to round a bend and colliding with a guard rail at Mannering Park last night.

Emergency services arrived at Rutleys Road just before midnight to find the 44-year-old man dead.

A police statement said it appeared the man was riding westbound along Rutleys Road when he failed to negotiate a bend and was thrown from the bike on impact.

Any witnesses have been asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
