Man to face court on drug charges

A MAN will face court today after police raided a house at The Entrance and allegedly seized 48 ecstasy

tablets, cannabis, cash and stolen goods.

Tuggerah Lakes target action group detectives executed the search warrant on the Lakeside Parade house yesterday.

A man, 33, allegedly tried to flee out a back door before being arrested by officers and taken to The Entrance

Police Station for questioning.

He has been charged with supplying a prohibited drug, two counts of possessing a prohibited drug, possessing a prohibited substance, goods in custody, resisting arrest and hindering police.

The man will appear in Wyong Local Court today.

16/12/2008 | So we now have desperate parents attempting to bribe teachers to get their children into a selective high school. What a sad indictment of our education policies, the holy grail of which is parental choice.
