POLICE are requesting information on the whereabouts of a male in the Wyee area following the suspicious death of a woman in Greta.
About 9.30am on Tuesday Tammy Sindermann, 43, was found dead at a house in Wyndham Street by a relative.
She was discovered lying on the ground in a shed to the rear of the house.
In vestigators ruled out self-harm and said they were treating the death as suspicious and awaiting results of an autopsy.
Investigators are concerned for the welfare of Ms Sindermann’s husband, Darren Fishburn, who has not been seen since the discovery.
The 42-year-old is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a solid build, short brown hair, goatee beard and piercings in both ears.
It is believed he may be driving a red 1989 Nissan Patrol with NSW registration YAE-923.
Strike Force Wintervale has been formed by local police with the assistance of the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad to investigate the death and police are conducting a search of the Wyee area for Mr Fishburn.
