A WOMAN arrested for shoplifting at Charlestown Square was later charged with similar thefts from Westfield Kotara after goods were allegedly found in her car.
A spokesman said officers were called to Charlestown about 5pm yesterday after security reported holding two teenage women, aged 19 and 17, for shoplifting.
The younger one was spoken to before the 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of stealing from two shops.
A search of her car later found goods allegedly stolen from four shops at Kotara.
She will also face a charge of not being accompanied by a licensed driver after it was discovered she was allegedly only a learner driver.
