Aussie actors Shane Jacobson, of Kenny fame, and Pia Miranda will lead the way down the red carpet at Dungog for the world premiere of their film.
The stars of Surviving Georgia, which also features Secret Life of Us actor Spencer McLaren, will attend the screening at James Theatre on Saturday, May 29.
Lead actress Caroline O'Connor, who plays Georgia, will open the Dungog Film Festival with a cabaret performance on the Thursday.
The film centres around two sisters, played by Holly Valance and Miranda, who are dealing with the legacy of their flamboyant mother, Georgia.
"I'm absolutely thrilled that Surviving Georgia is playing at Dungog. This will be my third year in a row attending with a film and I've always had a fantastic time, so I'm looking forward to it," Miranda said.
Fellow Australian film Subdivision, starring Gary Sweet and Brooke Satchwell, which recently screened at Cannes Film Festival, will close the Dungog festival.
