VIDEO: Devilish activities on show at Ark

02 Feb, 2012 10:58 AM
It's been just over a year since 30 founder Tasmanian Devils were released at the Devil Ark site in the Barrington Tops.

The project, officially opened in September 2011, was set up as an insurance program for the Tasmanian devil, which is listed as endangered in its native environment.

The sanctuary is free of the deadly facial tumours that have ravaged the Tasmanian populations.

The Devil Ark has produced a number of short videos to give people an insight into the lives of the creatures and their keepers.
