CHAD "Hollywood" Bennett will pursue a rematch with Steve Wills after his fourth-round technical knockout loss on Wednesday night in his International Boxing Organisation Asia-Pacific junior welterweight title shot.
Bennett's manager, Richard Claut, said Bennett was focused on moving forward despite the loss at Sydney's Acer Arena.
"Steve has agreed verbally to a rematch," Claut said.
"If we can get it signed it will have all the passion of a Jets versus Mariners football game a Central Coast boy fighting our Hollywood Novocastrian.
"We are going to do some power and close-range punching work with Jeff Fenech. I'll also talk with Kostya Tszyu when he gets back from Russia.
"I'll also be talking to the Wild Card gym with trainer Freddie Roach, who looks after Manny Pacquiao about the timing of some US training."
Claut said a head knock put Bennett on the back foot early against Wills.
"One of those head clashes happened to hit Chad square on the top of his head, resulting in blurred vision and affecting his equilibrium. Chad just couldn't get his balance back," he said.
