 Just for Australia Day

Just for Australia Day

28 Jan, 2010 12:41 PM
AUSTRALIA Day dawned. The park glistened. A family took their morning stroll. Bronzed, muscle-bound hunks ran themselves ragged, stretching, jogging, running, pumping out push-ups. Life, be in it, in the great Aussie outdoors. Glorious.

Two chattering sweet young things walked their enormous black dog leash-free. Just as well the hunks had finished their training because right in the middle of their running track, the great black pooch pooed, dropping an enormous load. Oblivious, the sweet young things chattered onwards, leaving behind their contribution to the great Aussie outdoors.

Australians all, let us rejoice!

We all need a bit of light relief every now and then. This is a funny story. Dog poo is better than the piles of human? excrement we see on our workplace side door in Newcastle Centre.

I think the dog in question should be bought to task. Arrested and charged with public nucance.

I'm a dog owner and I am disgusted by people who don't pick up their dogs' waste. It makes us all look bad and it puts dogs at risk from people who are looking for excuses to harm them.
