ANDREW Clarke ("Bogey Hole responsibility" Letters 24/2) may have a point about people taking responsibility for their own actions, but surely the fence at the Bogey Hole should be repaired as soon as possible.
The young people in the above photograph, taken last weekend, enjoyed the thrill of being pummelled by huge waves but, like many teenagers, didn't seem to fully understand the risks.
A fence would at least reduce the likelihood of someone being tragically swept into the ocean.
