- The must-see pre-wedding video
The outside of Auburn deputy mayor Salim Mehajer's mega-wedding was garish enough, with its fleet of helicopters, cavalcade of luxury sports cars, a jet flyover and bikies lining the street in Lidcombe.
Now, the public has been given a glimpse inside the extravagant wedding reception, at a venue overlooking Iron Cove, where the towering wedding cake stood almost as tall as the beaming bride herself.
Cr Mehajer, a property developer, and his new wife Aysha married in an Islamic ceremony earlier this month, but their wedding party, which the groom had hyped online as being "AUSTRALIA'S BEST WEDDING", took place on Saturday.
Footage taken from inside the reception, and which was released publicly on Monday morning, shows members of the wedding party riding into the venue, Le Montage in Lilyfield, on oversized motorbikes.

The footage was captured by Sydney wedding cinematography company Iconic Films, which shot and edited the film on Saturday in time to show it to guests assembled at the reception that night.
Among the guests photographed there were rugby league identity Beau Ryan and singer Missy Higgins.
The six-minute film montage also shows the bride and groom getting ready for their special day on Saturday morning, to the soundtrack of Westlife's song, You Look So Beautiful in White.
Cr Mehajer is shown in a room overlooking Sydney Harbour putting on a diamond-encrusted bow tie and his Rolex watch, hugging his father, before boarding a helicopter for the presumably minutes-long ride to a park near his Lidcombe home.
He is then chauffeured to the house on Frances Street in a fleet of luxury sports cars worth $50 million, before walking up a red carpet to the house, where Aysha is waiting for him.
At its height, the celebration shut down Frances Street and included performers banging on large drums, a jet flyover and a plane towing a sign announcing the nuptials with a love heart. Security was provided by former NRL footballer John Hopoate.
"He must have a bit of money. I wish I had some of that," said Hopoate, who was filming the spectacle on his phone.

The bride and groom and their family and friends celebrated by dancing in the street.
"This is how you do a wedding," Mr Mehajer told TV cameras.
"Floyd Mayweather, you've got no chance on me motherf---er," he added, referring to the boxing world champion.
Earlier, a two-minute pre-wedding video emerged in which the now newlyweds re-enacted the story of their meeting, when "a man who has it all" had his life "turned upside down". In one dramatic scene, Cr Mehajer is depicted holding and firing a gun
