A man was flown to John Hunter Hospital after injuring himself with a chainsaw.
A MAN, 56, suffered serious injuries to his lower leg after accidentally hitting himself with a chainsaw at Gloucester today.
Emergency services were called to treat the man, who was clearing a fire trail in a remote part of the Barrington Tops, about 3pm.
A Westpac rescue helicopter spokesman said the man was flown to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
