THE staff at Eurobar believe that it’s never too early for coffee and cake.
The cafe’s Beaumont Street pastry display gives passers by a mouth-watering glimpse at 15 varieties of cake, available to order from 7am. If you don’t have a sweet tooth, there’s plenty of savoury meals on offer.
Eurobar’s fresh, flavoursome food and bustling cafe atmosphere make it the perfect spot to catch up with friends for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Breakfast: Grilled haloumi, roasted tomato and baby spinach served on sourdough with a pesto and balsamic drizzle, $9; Moroccan egg tagine with chickpeas, lentils and tomato, cooked with Moroccan spices and topped with poached eggs, $13; brekkie bruschetta with scrambled eggs, baby spinach and roasted tomato, served with basil cashew pesto and a sprinkle of pine nuts, $16.
Mains: Grilled pita bread topped with roasted pumpkin, caramelised onion, goat’s cheese, semi-dried tomato, salad and a pesto drizzle, $16; spinach and ricotta ravioli with a creamy tomato sauce, $12; Greek marinated chicken tenderloins set on a roasted field mushroom and a chorizo, shallot and kipfler potato rosti with a balsamic drizzle, $17.50.
Cake: Chocolate Rocher mousse cake, banoffee pie, lemon meringue pie, and baked New York cheesecake; $8.50 per slice, served with cream or ice-cream.
