A woman has escaped unscathed from her burning home in Windella this afternoon.
The fire started in a bedroom about 1pm and spread into the hallway of the Lerra Road home before it could be contained by officers from the Rural Fire Service and Fire and Rescue NSW.
A Fire and Rescue NSW spokesman said flames and smoke had caused significant damage to the home.
No one was injured.
The blaze was extinguished about 2.30pm.
Fire crews believe the blaze was sparked by a heater or a radiator.
