Police have confirmed that two men found dead at a Fishing Point house this morning were killed in a murder-suicide.
Police were called to the Alkrington Avenue property about 6.30am following reports of the double shooting.
On arrival, they found a man, aged in his 60s, and another aged in his 50s, dead inside the home.
Chief Inspector Kim Sorensen said earlier he was confident they had contained the situation and there was no suspect at large.
"Everyone that we need to account for has been accounted for," he said.

Chief Inspector Sorensen described Fishing Point as a lovely residential area.
"Regardless of where it happens it obviously has an impact on neighbours, it has an impact on emergency services that attend," he said.
Police are still unable to identify the deceased as there are a number of people yet to be notified.
A brief is being prepared for the coroner.
