A BRANCH from a fig tree damaged a garbage truck at Toronto yesterday.

Lake Macquarie City Council officers assessed the health and stability of the trees on The Boulevarde yesterday after the truck clipped one of the trees about 6.30am.

The large branch fell onto the truck, damaging a section behind the cabin.
