Flo Rida hip to being served on hop

HE may have played at the Logies, but we need your help to make Flo Rida famous.

The elusive rapper, who pocketed $55,000 to perform at Fat as Butter in Newcastle last October but failed to show, has been hard to pin down.

The NSW District Court froze Flo’s assets in Australia.

Simple, right? Not with Flo.

The festival promoters tried to serve him on his recent Australian tour, but ‘‘he got wise to it pretty quickly’’.

‘‘We couldn’t get near him in the end because he was constantly surrounded by an entourage and security so we looked into ways of serving him via Facebook because he’s very active on social media,’’ promoter Brent Lean said.

So the court has given the all-clear to serve the claim via Facebook.

That’s where you come in.

Flo is indeed active on social media. On Tuesday, for instance, he posted this photo of himself with a jet giving birth to a Ferrari.

If we’re going to reach him anywhere, it’s on Facebook. He has nearly 6million likes.

So let’s get on it. If we all post on his wall or send him an inbox message reminding him he’s got a matter in the NSW District Court, we can make this the year we Get Flo 2012.

Er, that is, get Flo to attend to an outstanding legal claim.
