Murdered millionaire's business to stay

EMPLOYEES of murdered Lake Macquarie millionaire Phil Lunn have vowed to continue running his business in memory of their boss.

Mr Lunn, 64, was shot at Fishing Point by Michael Cumins in a murder-suicide on Tuesday.

Mr Cumins's wife, Susan, was one of Mr Lunn's employees at Lampson Australia, a crane and heavy lifting company which has its Australian base at Toronto.

Mrs Cumins was at her boss's home when her husband arrived about 6.15am and shot Mr Lunn before shooting himself.

Lampson International's director of public relations and communications, Kate Lampson, said reports that Mr Cumins was an employee of Lampson were incorrect.

Ms Lampson said Mr Cumins had never worked for the company or any subsidiary.

She said Mr Lunn "leaves behind an incredible team of individuals at Lampson Australia who will continue to run the Lampson operations the way he would have wanted with hard work, dedication and integrity".
