POLICE are investigating after a Toukley man suffered alleged stab wounds to his face.
An Ambulance NSW spokeswoman said paramedics were called to Ninth Street at Toukley about 5.15pm on Friday.
They treated a 48-year-old male for a severe laceration to the right side of his face.
An Ambulance NSW spokesperson said he was taken to the John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
Paramedics also attended a separate incident at Adamstown shortly before 6.30pm where a 41-year-old male suffered multiple lacerations to his torso.
An Ambulance NSW statement said the injuries were incurred after the man was allegedly dragged between 10 and 15 metres alongside a car.
He was taken to the John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
A Hunter New England Health spokeswoman said the 48-year-old Toukley man was not in their care.
The other man was no longer in their care, she said.
