TWO teens have been charged with robbery and four revellers arrested over allegedly breaking a bouncer’s jaw during a police blitz on Newcastle’s nightlife.
The second weekend of Operation Roaming saw nearly 90 business inspections during Friday and Saturday nights by the 50-strong police contingent.
There were a dozen people charged with offensive conduct, 43 fines handed out for transport offences, 34 move-on directions and two people cautioned for possessing a small amount of cannabis.
Newcastle City police have warned the increased police presence would continue throughout the winter.
