THE cleanout at the Jets continues after Newcastle soccer legend David Lowe confirmed today he had been released from his position as the club’s chief talent scout.
Lowe, a former Socceroo and KB United hero, was appointed by the Jets in October, 2010, as the club's first full-time recruitment officer.
However, like a host of players, Lowe has been given his marching orders.
It is unclear at this stage if he will be replaced, or if this is part of a cost-cutting overhaul of the A-League franchise's operations.
