Much coal, too close

WHEN I travel along the Golden Highway and see the dust haze over areas around Muswellbrook and Singleton, I wonder at what expense to our health the mining boom comes. When I get closer to my home at Tighes Hill and see the massive stockpiles of coal awaiting loading onto ships, I feel that to have another coal-loader is all too much for our region and our homes, both aesthetically and for health reasons.

It’s too much coal, too close to our homes in the Hunter Valley. We should all oppose the T4 coal-loader. Simply too much coal to be healthy.
