SUMMER is the season for sunsets, sand and snapshots and here’s your chance to combine all three.
The Herald Summer Photo Competition is our annual search for the Hunter’s best backyard photographer.
Share with us your best picture and you could win one of three Olympus digital cameras from Domayne, Kotara.
All you have to do is capture a “summer moment” – the family frolicking at the beach, a glorious sunset, pet shenanigans, a loved one’s portrait or a sports shot – and send it in.
The best photo wins an Olympus Pen Mini digital camera, with a recommended retail price of $449, plus 1000 6x4 prints valued at $150. Second prize is an Olympus TG-820 10m waterproof camera and third, an Olympus TG-320 3m waterproof camera.
A selection of entries will be published in the paper and online.
HOW TO ENTER
Entries must include your name, address, phone number, photo title, brief description of the photo and date it was taken. Photos must be a minimum of 150Kb and a maximum of 1Mb. The competition closes January 25. Email a maximum of three photos as jpeg attachments to photocomp@theherald.com.au.
