FOOTY fans waiting for the 2013 NRL season to kick off can get their fix with Rugby League Live 2, the latest video version of the greatest game of all.
Rugby League Live 2 is available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and the Newcastle Herald and Tru Blu Entertainment are giving away one copy in each format.
Players have access to all teams from the NRL, National Youth Cup, NSW Cup, Queensland Cup, English Super League, and international representative teams, or you can create custom teams and players from the ‘‘Footy Factory’’ feature.
The game simulates the real thing including attacking and defensive strategies, passing, tackling and kicking, right down to the minute detail of players getting dirty and sweaty.
Andrew Voss and Phil ‘‘Gus’’ Gould provide expert commentary to make it even more realistic.
‘‘Rugby League Live 2 provides fans with the most realistic rugby league game-play they have ever experienced,’’ NRL marketing and commercial general manager Paul Kind said.
‘‘Whether it’s the strategy of the game’s dynamic tackling system or simply the mud forming on the jerseys as the game progresses, players can recreate the excitement of the game every day of the year.’’
