Pictures from Warners Bay armed robbery

POLICE are hoping these men could progress their inquiries into a Lake Macquarie armed robbery.

Detectives investigating a December 14 hold-up at a Warners Bay service station believe the pair, who are both described as tanned and are wearing hoodies in these images, may be helpful.

Police said two men entered the Warners Bay Road service station about 8.40pm, threatening the console operator with a knife.

They fled on foot with a sum of cash along Jones Avenue.

Police have described one of the men about 175cm tall with a thin build and tanned complexion.

He was wearing a dark jumper with a light hood, gloves and black shorts.

The other man is also tanned and was wearing a blue hooded jumper with a pink-red shirt and black shorts.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Lake Macquarie police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
