THE bulldozing of the Fletcher Minmi green corridor is a double loss.
It is a loss of faith. The duplicity of our governments, those elected to serve the people, never ceases to distress and sadden. It is also a loss of contact between the people of our town and nature.
A city that loses its natural areas loses its soul.
Children yet to be born will suffer the loss most, as once built on, that green corridor, part of their natural heritage, can never be reclaimed.
