FIVE air quality alerts have been issued for the Upper Hunter since 3pm yesterday (Tuesday).
The Upper Hunter Air Quality Monitoring Network has issued three alerts for Singleton and two for Camberwell.
The alerts warn that air pollution has exceeded national health standards for particulate matter less than 10 microns in diameter (PM10).
