Three children approached by man

THREE children have told police how they were approached by a man as they swam at Lemon Tree Passage last night and told to get into his car.

Police said the boy, 11, and two girls, aged 9 and 10, were swimming at the Lemon Tree Passage marine near Henderson Park about 7pm when the man walked towards them.

They told police they became scared and swam away from the man, who got back into a white hatchback and drove off.

The children went home and told their parents.

The male is described as being aged around 182cm, aged about 50, bald on the top of his head with white hair around the back and sides of his head.

He was wearing a dark t-shirt, grey and white striped shorts and green joggers.
