MUSIC legends Paul Simon and Robert Plant will perform at Hope Estate over the Easter weekend.
Paul Simon will play on Easter Saturday, March 30, including the Hunter Valley venue as part of a national tour.
Former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant will perform on Easter Sunday.
Chugg Entertainment executive chairman Michael Chugg announced the concerts yesterday.
‘‘The Hunter offers an entirely different experience from the arenas and stadiums,” Mr Chugg said.
“It’s a beautiful location, acts love playing there and fans love the outdoors, the beautiful surrounds.’’
Both Simon and Plant will play as part of a multiple line-up. Simon will be joined by reggae great Jimmy Cliff and Rufus Wainwright, and Plant by gospel music exponents, Blind Boys Of Alabama and the nine-piece band Playing For Change. He will include songs from the early Led Zeppelin era.
Each of the Hunter Valley’s Hope Estate concerts is being sold separately and tickets will go on sale from Ticketmaster from Wednesday, January 30.
