2012: Joy Galli, aged 71, dies of gallbladder, stomach, liver and bone cancer;  a former male resident in his 40s, who lived in the street for about a decade is recovering from bowel cancer.

2009: Man,  35, diagnosed with stage four non-Hodgkins lymphoma;   household budgie also has a large tumour. 

2008: Joy Galli’s daughter Tina, 31, has  major surgery to remove melanomas.
