PICTURE OF THE PAST - Greg Ray

This series of photographs, taken in 1963, shows how much Broadmeadow Railway Station has changed. At that time, the station's booking office was on the Lambton Road overbridge. These days most tickets are sold from machines or bought online, although there is still a ticket office in the station, near the Graham Street entrance. With speculation growing about the future of the line, and where it will terminate, it’s possible the view of the rail line will continue to change.
