EIGHT men have been arrested and charged on the Central Coast following a four-month investigation into drug and property offences.
Operation Mainsail was launched in November last year to investigate a spate of drug supply and property offences.
The investigation centred on the supply of cannabis and amphetamines in the local area, as well as the theft of property, including jewellery, electronic goods and bicycles.
As a result of lengthy inquiries, police executed simultaneous search warrants on four Central Coast properties about 8am on Wednesday.
Seven men were arrested during those raids, while an eighth man was taken into custody after an additional search warrant was executed at a fifth property.
The men will appear in court over the coming months.
Investigations by Brisbane Water and Tuggerah Lakes police, under Operation Mainsail, are continuing.
