A LIGHT plane crashed into the yard of a private property in Luskintyre at about midday today.
An ambulance spokesman said two males were treated at the scene by paramedics.
The pilot, aged in his late 20s, was treated for minor injuries, while the passenger, aged in his early 30s, suffered a facial laceration and leg injury.
Both were transported to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
Police said that about 11.30am the aircraft was practicing landings and take-offs from an aerodrome at Luskintyre.
Witnesses have reported the plane experienced difficulties before it narrowly missed houses and crashed into trees.
Firefighters were also on scene to attend to a fuel leak.
The private property was located opposite the aerodrome.
