Lottery officials looking for $3.65 million winner

NSW Lotteries officials are looking for a lucky Hunter punter who won $3.65 million today in the $2 Jackpot Lottery.

The ticket was purchased from News 2 U at Westfield Kotara.

The winning ticket is registered to a NSW Lotteries Players Club card winner but NSW Lotteries officials have been unable to contact the winner today to give them the good news.

NSW Lotteries Communications Executive Una O’Neill said the winner may be unaware of their new multi-millionaire status.

“As we have been unable to contact the $2 Lucky Lotteries $3.65 million winner, it is quite possible that they are going about their day unaware of their good fortune,” she said.

“A $3.65 million win is a life-changing amount, I’m sure that when the winner finds out about it they will need a few days to recover.”

The jackpot in the $2 Jackpot Lottery is won when the selected jackpot number has already won a cash prize in the same lottery.

In this morning’s draw, the winner scored a $10 cash prize before the winning number was selected for the $3.65 million jackpot prize.
