Kotara boosts Karise

A NATIONAL Westfield tour that included a performance at Kotara has helped Karise Eden’s album debut at number one.

The Central Coast winner of The Voice released her album, My Journey, on Tuesday last week in conjunction with a national Westfield tour that stopped at Kotara on June 28.

My Journey, which features cover songs and The Voice winner’s single You Won’t Let Me, debuted at number one on the ARIA album chart.

However, Eden’s singles, which occupied four of the top five spots on the ARIA singles chart last week, have dropped this week.

Former number one Stay With Me Baby has disappeared out of the top 50 singles, while You Won’t Let Me is her only single to hold its position at number five.

Eden’s former number two single Hallelujah has dropped to 38th place.

Flo Rida has reclaimed pole position on the ARIA singles chart a week after Eden ended his seven-week run at the top.
