Scott O'Heir guilty of Hilliary Allen's murder

SCOTT O'Heir has been found guilty of the murder of Singleton grandmother Hilliary Allen this afternoon.

O'Heir showed little emotion after the verdict was delivered in Newcastle Supreme Court.

The jury also found the 28-year-old guilty of robbing Mrs Allen in her unit on the afternoon of March 1, 2009.

She was found dead on the floor of her garage the next morning.

She died from blood loss as a result of a cut to her right leg.

O'Heir will be sentenced at a later date.
