The dream run of the Barnsley Bulldogs is over, leaving Northern NSW State League champions Broadmeadow Magic to retain Newcastle’s stranglehold on the State Cup.
Magic will take on Coffs City in the final of the 64 team knockout at 2.30pm today in Coffs Harbour.
Broadmeadow progressed to the decider after they accounted for fellow State League club Charlestown City 3-1 in the semi-final this morning.
Coffs City were too good for Barnsley 4-0 in the other semi-final.
The Bulldogs play in the fourth tier of Newcastle football.
