Lake Road's southbound lanes at Glendale have reopened, following an accident that left one person trapped.
The lanes were reopened shortly after 3pm.
In a separate incident, motorists heading north on the New England Highway were warned to expect heavy traffic conditions.
The highway warning has since been lifted.
