RENOWNED serial pest Peter Hoare has been released on bail and instructed not to go near Sydney for the next five days after he was arrested by counter-terrorism police as he was allegedly making his way to Sydney to disrupt the royal visit.
Hoare, 54, was arrested at Hamilton railway station on Wednesday after he allegedly bought a train ticket to Sydney.
Counter-terrorism police allege that Hoare had indicated he would be disrupting the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s visit to the Opera House.
He was charged with being a convicted person found with intent to commit an indictable offence and was refused bail on Wednesday.
He faced Newcastle Local Court on Thursday.
The royals are currently in the Blue Mountains.
