FROSTY conditions at Barrington have made more than 170 Tasmanian devils in the high country feel at home in the Hunter on Friday.
Australian Reptile Park spokeswoman Libby Bain said Devil Ark, the Barrington-based breeding program for the endangered southern marsupials, had received solid snowfall in recent days.
"It snowed heavily yesterday and today," Ms Bain said on Friday.
"It doesn't worry them because they live in dens."
Ms Bain said the snowy weather had delivered a chance for the animals to frolic in conditions that may remind them of their roots.
"It's very Tasmanian-like weather we're experiencing," she said.
