■ Newcastle Jockey Club, Broadmeadow: General entry $5, with proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House. Camel races, live music, market stalls, sweeps, tote facilities and prizes for the best dressed female and male. Food and drink packages also available.
■ Newy Burger Co, Newcastle: Opening especially for race day from noon, serving their signature delicious burgers, drinks available from the Crown & Anchor bar.
■ The Junction Hotel, The Junction: Drinks and canape soiree, dress in style in black and white, tickets $120.
■ Cazador, Newcastle: Canapes all day, champagne, beer and wine included, races on the big screen, sweeps, live entertainment, prizes for best hat, best tie and best ensemble, TAB facilities, tickets $75.
■ The Landing Bar + Kitchen, Honeysuckle: Runway show curated by Lara Lupish, fashions on the field, prizes for best hat and best dressed, multiple race screens, Chambord and champagne on arrival; a five-hour beverage package and a spring lunch served cocktail-style, tickets $150 each.
The upstairs area will also be open to the average race day punter who wants to come for a drink and order something from the bar menu.
■ The Edwards, Newcastle West: Prizes for best dressed, music, Yabbie races, the Cup on the big screen, beer, wine, champagne, cold cuts, oyster bar and canapes. Tickets $130 at the door from 11:30am.
