Guinea pigs galore at Mulbring

GUINEA pigs galore will fill Mulbring Scout Hall tomorrow and battle it out for top spot in eating, fashion and weight competitions.

The NSW Guinea Pig Club has brought the pet show back to Mulbring for the first time in about six years, aiming to provide education for owners.

Show secretary Julie Allan said the public should bring along their pets and participate in the activities.

"We have some fun classes for the kids and it will be a fun day for the whole family," she said.

"We want to provide education for people who aren't sure on the care required for guinea pigs."

Demonstrations on nail clipping, washing and grooming will be alongside competitions for best pet, best dressed guinea pig and best decorated cage.

Entry is free and the hall opens at 10.30am.
